Asase yaa is the mother of Nature and fertility as celebrated by the Ashanti people of Ghana. She is an omnipotent energy in which harvests life to her surroundings and nurtures the presence of living things.
This is the final painting in the Mother Nature Series. Asase Yaa is pictured rising, waking up in the dusk of morning. As Asase Yaa is rising the animals around rise with her, enjoying her presence. She brings warmth, peace and serenity.
As pictured Asase Yaa is levitating exuding omnipotent divine energy, as she rises towards the sun.
